Coaching Internships are available to a limited number each year and are suitable
for those seeking a profession in the equine industry. For those wishing to attain
certification, we offer a "hands-on opportunity" to help prepare for the coaching examination.
Aspiring competitors will have the opportunity to upgrade their skills and prepare for the
coming season.

AIM OF THE COACHING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
- To prepare for English Coaching Certification Exam.
- To improve riding skills.
- To improve teaching skills.
- To improve stable management & horse care techniques.
- To teach record keeping - re first aid, lesson plans, bookkeeping
- To introduce Sport Psychology techniques for riding & teaching.
- To inform students regarding safety standards.
- To learn to back and train young horses.
- To improve competition skills.
METHODOLOGIES INCLUDE:
- Hands on teaching, under supervision
- Riding school masters
- Video and Reading library - List
- Critique
- Class Discussion
- Note Handouts
- Q & A with a Vet and Blacksmith regularly scheduled.
