Coaching Internships are available to a limited number each year and are suitable for those seeking a profession in the equine industry. For those wishing to attain certification, we offer a "hands-on opportunity" to help prepare for the coaching examination. Aspiring competitors will have the opportunity to upgrade their skills and prepare for the coming season. AIM OF THE COACHING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: To prepare for English Coaching Certification Exam. To improve riding skills. To improve teaching skills. To improve stable management & horse care techniques. To teach record keeping - re first aid, lesson plans, bookkeeping To introduce Sport Psychology techniques for riding & teaching. To inform students regarding safety standards. To learn to back and train young horses. To improve competition skills. METHODOLOGIES INCLUDE: Hands on teaching, under supervision Riding school masters Video and Reading library - List Critique Class Discussion Note Handouts Q & A with a Vet and Blacksmith regularly scheduled.
