The Horse People Inc. are looking for energetic, capable riding instructors for our 2003 summer camp program, running from June 15 to August 16. If you are at least 18 years of age and enjoy working with horses young people, we encourage you to apply.

Current Openings - Riding Instructors
The Horse People are looking for passionate, diligent riding instructors for our 2003 summer program. As a riding instructor at The Horse People, you must be committed to excellence regarding:

  • The care, well-being, and safety of our campers
  • The care, well-being, and safety of the horses, and
  • The care and safety of the Horse People property.

    Your duties will include

  • Preparing lesson plans tailored to campers
  • Providing lessons to groups of campers
  • Grooming and exercising horses
  • Keeping tack in good repair

    In return, The Horse People will provide

  • Room, board, and laundry services
  • A competitive salary
  • A challenging, fun, safe work environment
  • Coaching and instruction to help you reach your goals in riding, coaching, or competition.

    All Riding Instructors must be Nationally Certified Equestrian Coaches and available to work in Canada.

    Work hours are generally 8AM to 5PM, although extremely hot weather may necessitate evening lessons. In these cases afternoons are free.
